Canadian Pacific train collides with truck in Ontario

A truck driver was killed and two people injured when a Canadian Pacific
train collided with a truck in
Ontario yesterday (19 Nov 1999)
The accident occurred at a crossing at Milton, 20 miles southwest of Ontario. According to a police statement, the crossing barriers were down and the warning lights flashing at the time of the collision. The train was not derailed as it carried the truck "several hundred yards" along the track.
The two people who were injured were travelling in the train. One is said to have serious injuires.
This is the second such accident to have occurred in the area this month. On 9 November a passenger train collided with a truck on a crossing near Acton, killing the driver
