Capitol Limited collision injures 27

Twenty-seven people were injured when Amtrak's Capitol Limited was in collision with a freight train in

The freight train, operated by CSXT was turning into a yard having arrived from Willard, Ohio. The Chicago - Washington Amtrak train ran into the rear of the freight. Both trains were under the control of the CSX national control center in Jacksonville, Fla.
None of the injured are thought to be in a serious condition after the crash which occurred at 11:50 (edt).
An investigation team from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) sent two investigators to the scene.
