15 hurt in S. Korea derailment

Fifteen people were injured when a South Korean train derailed on Friday September 3 1999.


The train had departed from the country's capital Seoul at 07:00 local time (22:00 GMT) and the accident occurred about an hour later as it passed through the western city of Chonan. The cause of the accident is unknown.

Chonan, in the province of Southern Chungchong is about 80 kilometres south of Seoul.
