Train hits transporter - 4 hurt

A passenger train collided with a car transporter on a level crossing in Cornwall today (8 Apr) injuring four people.
The accident occurred at Tregoss when the 11:52 Par - Newquay train struck the transporter carrying 7 cars. The truck was pushed about 20 yards along the track. The train, operated by Wales & West Trains was not derailed
The drivers of the train and the transporter were slightly injured. Two passengers on the train also received minor injuries.
