Latest reports from Hyderabad say that 4 people have been killed and up to 40 injured, many seriously in the blast. Eye witnesses say that the bomb had been placed in one of the train's passenger carriages which was completely destroyed.

The train had just left the station at Hyderabad, bound for Mirpur Khas and was passing through a shanty town when the incident occurred.

The Pakistani government has accused the Indian intelligence service of planting the bomb.
