BELGIUM:
Train deliberately derailed - 15 injured
: Wednesday April 19, 2000
A passenger train derailed and collided with an oncoming train yesterday (18 April).
Police believe that a concrete block had deliberately been placed on the line near Charleroi which carries traffic between Paris and Cologne. Their investigations are continuing to discover the
culprits.
Fifteen people were injured in the incident.
