Southall Driver to be prosecuted

British Transport Police today announced that the Driver of the express passenger train that collided with an empty freight train will be prosecuted. They stated that Larry Harrison will appear before Ealing Magistrates on 27 May charged with Manslaughter.
The 51 year old driver was in charge of the 1032 Swansea to Paddington train when the accident occurred in September 1997. Seven passengers were killed and more than 150 injured.
