  • Aisgill 1995

    Aisgill, Great Britain - ()

In January 1995 one man died and almost 30 people were injured in an accident in torrential rain at Aisgill. On that occasion a derailed passenger train was hit by another, killing the guard of the stationary train. The official report into that accident said it could have been less serious if a crew member of the derailed train had immediately set out to protect the train.
